AIS results and awards
- Women's team in the 1999-2000 WNBL finished 8th with a 2-19 win/loss record. Shelley Hammonds was awarded Rookie of The Year.
- Men's team in the South East Australian Basketball League finished 10th with a 5-23 win/loss record. Jacob Himes named Australian U23 Player in the Eastern Conference
- All scholarship holders worked as volunteers at the Sydney Olympics basketball tournament.
