AIS results and awards
- Men's team represented Australia at the Oceania Championships, won the final against America Samoa.
- Women's team represented Australia at the Oceania Championships, won the final against Fiji.
- Women's team in the 1985 WNBL season finished 9th with a 3-15 win/loss record.
- Men's team in the South East Australian Basketball League finished tenth with a 11-15 win/loss record.
