Summary

  • Participated in the NSW State League Waratah Cup and the Australian Netball League where it finished third.
  • Toured New Zealand and Singapore
  • Training partners to the Diamonds Commonwealth Games
  • 2009 AIS Netball scholarship holder Sharni Layton of the Adelaide Thunderbirds was announced as the winner of the ANZ Championship’s inaugural MARS Red Best Young Player Award.
  • AIS scholarship holder and Queensland goal attack Stephanie Wood won the 19/U San Remo Most Valuable Player at the National Netball Championships.
