  • 4th Year as AIS Canberra Darters competing in Commonwealth Bank Trophy. The team failed to win a game.
  • AIS scholarship holder Susan Fuhrmann was selected into the Australian Open Netball team which subsequently won a silver medal at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games.
  • 2006 Commonwealth Games silver medal-winning team consisted of 7 former AIS netball scholarship holders; Natalie Avellino (1989-91), Catherine Cox (1995), Megan Dehn (nee Anderson, 1994)), Susan Fuhrmann (2004-06), Janine Ilitch (nee Lynch, 1993), Susan Pratley (2003-05) and Natalie von Bertouch (2001)
