Summary

  • The AIS team participated in the Mobil Superleague and finished seventh. They also played by invitation in the NSW State League, for 8 wins and 5 losses to finish the preliminary rounds in equal fourth position.
  • Canterbury won the annual AIS/Canterbury exchange, held at the AIS, 2-0 with the third match finishing in an exciting draw. AIS toured New Zealand and the Cook Islands playing 3 matches in each country, and were undefeated.
  • Australia won the Milo Series against New Zealand in New Zealand 2-1. They also completed a 4-0 whitewash of Trinidad and Tobago in the Milo Cup
