Summary

  • The AIS team was undefeated in a three-test series against New Zealand Young Internationals and games against national Under 21 and Under 25 teams in Barbados and Trinidad.
  • The first World Youth Cup was played in Canberra with nine AIS players in the winning side. Australia completed the year with an undefeated tour which included two tests.
  • Played Trinidad and Tobago for the Johnson and Johnson Cup, drew first 2 games and won the next two.
