Queensland Sport & Athletics Centre, Nathan, QLD

Athlete resilience has become increasingly topical in high performance sport, but there is currently no single, accepted definition of resilience in either the clinical or scientific literature.

The term ‘resilience’ has different meanings to athletes, coaches, sports medicine practitioners and other support staff. Some think of it as physical conditioning and resistance to injury, while others associate it with psychology and neurobiology.

The purpose of this seminar, therefore, is to bring Queensland’s high performance community together to hear from a dynamic group of experts who will share their experiences and perspectives on athlete resilience.
