AIS Netball Program

The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Netball program was one of the original eight AIS sports established in 1981. All AIS scholarship programs ceased at the end of 2013. Today, Netball Australia’s Centre of Excellence based at the AIS in Canberra provides Australia’s future national team members (the Diamonds) with an intensive daily training environment supported by Australia’s elite netball coaches and the AIS performance support staff.

Where available links are provided to Netball Australia's Hall of Fame and coach and athlete biographies.

Please note - in brackets ( ) are athletes' current (or married) surnames.
