VisionKit is a non-invasive video based tracking technique used to track player movements in any static and measured playing area. The non-invasive method means athletes do not need to wear a tracking device, therefore enabling tracking of opposition players.

Currently, only some Professional European sports have access to video tracking technology. Commercial alternatives exists, but are incredibly expensive. The AIS has access to VisionKit right now through a three year collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University, Pitsburgh and Disney research corporation.
